i got a twitter because of work (we have to keep up with "new media" since we're a marketing office). i don't use it as often as some people,
but it can be fun.

i have one i got it a long time ago when this girl im myspace friends with was talking about it in a survey it's probably twitter.com/titanr12 i got into it for like a day and then i got really irritated because i realized i REALLY don't care enough to know when my friends are going to taco bell and if i do care...i check facebook... but add me/follow me....whatever i might decide to like it again one day I think i need to start cutting down my technology...i'm totally realizing that there's just too much and it's not really helping my life anymore....it's just like i text someone or im someone or call them or something and they dont respond or tell me they're busy or something and then 5 mins later they update their facebook status saying they're bored or post a myspace survey and i get all pissed about it haha or like i'll be on the phone with the best friend and she'll be texting 4 other people at the same time so every 5 mins she'll bel ike hold on afdhgahdfgjadhfkgadfghadhfg ok back yeah anyway about that hold on...ahdfhgadjhfgjhadfjghahdfg or she'll be like playing a game on her phone and i'm justl ike OH COME ON REALLY ugh hahaha its a blessing but a curse at the same time

I think i need to start cutting down my technology...i'm totally realizing that there's just too much and it's not really helping my life anymore....it's just like i text someone or im someone or call them or something and they dont respond or tell me they're busy or something and then 5 mins later they update their facebook status saying they're bored or post a myspace survey and i get all pissed about it haha yes. i really want to delete facebook as well.. but if i do that, im gonna completely lose touch with a whole bunch of people.

I don't really go on facebook or anything, I spend the majority of my internet time now job hunting and i keep my laptop upstairs now so i don't really
go on it in the evenings, as i spend them downstairs

i don't really get twitter. well, i GET it. but, why have that AND a facebook. it's like they took one feature of facebook (status updates) and
created an entire site based around it.
god, rach, i would hang up on someone if they kept interrupting a phone convo to text. thankfully, i think texting didn't quite overcome my age group the way it has people even just a few years younger. i had one friend, oddly several years older, who felt it appropriate to text at all times (while talking to you, on the phone, driving the car); she could not ignore a text. it was the rudest #*%# i've seen in my life, and i don't understand it one bit. i mean, i understand reading a text real quick, but to have a text convo when we're supposed to be talking... I HATE people who text the whole time they're having a conversation with you. I don't do it, unless its just something super quick. Kristina does it

Except like with her, we talk on the phone a ridiculous amount and like multi task so most of the time it's whatever...but there have been times where i've been crying or needing to talk about something really important but i cant because she's like texting away...like a few nights ago i was seriously having a boy crisis and i was sobbbbbbing so hard and she seriously sent out probably THE longest text ever right when i was tryign to say something super important and i was like REALLY???? REALLY??? and she got mad that i was upset about she was like omg i didnt want my bf to think i died....and i'm like TELL HIM YOU'LL TEXT HIM BACK IN LIKE 20 MINS! jesus and she is like constantly texting when we're out....like we'll be at dinner and she just goes at it it's absolutely insane she is ADDICTED i think it's surgically attached to her hand when i'm with any other friend (except her because i dont really care with her anymore haha) i put my phone away and will occasionally check when theres a break in the convo...but i always feel bad when im texting and they aren't it's not fair to ignore them for someone who's nowhere near me but as for twitter i really think it's only a matter of time before myspace/facebook allow you to sign up for mobile status updates to take over the effect of twitter

i only break out with texting if im hanging out with someone i dont like that much. but even then i feel really bad.
i text when im out in public alone or sitting in class instead of talking to people. its REALLY bad. my sidekick is definitely the reason why i havent made any new friends out here yet. i hate it, but like mike said, i feel like i HAVE to check my social networking sites multiple times a day. if i dont i get antsy and i cant concentrate in class. im pretty happy that my contract with tmobile is up next month. this way i can get rid of my sk and only have my prepaid phone for a few months. that means i wont text because i cant afford it. its going to be good for me.
