Stencil Question

I stenciled a scarf for my sister. I had never used the type of material before, so I wasn't sure if the paint would even stick. The paint stuck, and the image looks fine, but the freezer paper left a stain on the material. Is there any way I can get this off? It doesn't look as bad as it looks in the picture; it depends on the light as to how noticeable it is. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

time for a spin off thread. we're all people. we all eat. let's talk about it. especially the homecooking.

anyone got food plans for t-day? i'm making glazed orange scones and a soy-seitan turkey. maybe some other stuff. this weekend i'm going to a vegan potluck, and i'm going to bring an apple crisp (pretty much the easiest fall baked good ever!). i use the betty crocker recipe but i replace the butter with vegan margarine.

i know katie dabbles, but what about the rest of you mugs? fall makes me want a nice, indoor hobby. i've been teaching myself to knit, and i recently figured out how to crochet granny squares (ah, the power of youtube). anybody else make/create/reporpuse stuff? i know some people used to stencil (myself include, though i've long given that up). i also embroider a little and have tried my hand a sewing some small things.

So I'm pretty sure that once upon a time we had a college thread, because I remember it being irrelevant to my life, but I cannot find it. Discussion of college should commence. And I'm in college now, I moved in yesterday.

My roommate had to go home for a funeral yesterday, so I haven't even met her yet. She got here reeeally early to move in and had to leave before I even got here, and then was supposed to come home last night but apparently her mom decided she should...

I know there is a book club thread, but I need help for me and my friends. We are going to be reading a book once a month but we are having trouble thinking of books to read. We don't want to do 'classics', atleast not yet, and nothing too difficult of a read since we aren't sure of one girls reading level haha. So any books/info on some books would be really helpful
